Concept & Overview

C-dex is an interactive movie discovery and community rating web platform. It empowers film enthusiasts to explore extensive movie catalogs, read community reviews, and curate personal watchlists with responsive performance.

Technical Implementation

  • Frontend Interface (React): Engineered a modular, responsive single-page application focused on high-throughput data loading and intuitive search filters.
  • Automated Data Scraping (Python): Built automated data scraping pipelines in Python to gather rich film metadata, poster artwork, and synopsis details.
  • Containerization & VM Deployment: Structured Docker containers across React client, Python API service, and local MongoDB storage, deployed on the campus server virtual machine under guidance from Alif Aditya Wicaksono.
