Singaplan is an intelligent iOS travel companion built to overcome travel decision paralysis. It empowers tourists and locals alike to explore, evaluate, and compare destination venues across Singapore based on real-time accessibility, budgetary parameters, and travel preferences.
Engineering & Design Contributions
- Custom Drag-and-Drop Itinerary Builder: Built interactive scheduling views using SwiftUI and the Observation framework for fluid, reactive UI updates.
- Python Data Ingestion & SwiftData Seeding: Designed automated Python web scraping pipelines to collect structured attraction metrics, opening hours, and pricing tiers, subsequently seeding them directly into SwiftData persistent storage.
- Category & Priority Engine: Developed dynamic preset filters allowing multi-variable comparisons across Singapore’s districts and points of interest (POIs).
